Welcome to Mayfest 2015, our eighth springtime festival of world-class chamber music in Ithaca with concerts in four inspiring locations: Barnes Hall, the Lab of Ornithology, Milstein Hall, and the Carriage House Café. This year, we are very excited to feature a spectacular young quartet from London playing on gut strings, the Chiaroscuro Quartet, and to invite back three guests known to Ithaca audiences: clarinetist Chen Halevi, violinist Yehonatan Berick, and cellist Clancy Newman. We also feature our largest contingent yet of inventive and talented local musicians playing a variety of genres. Our Sunday afternoon concert at the Lab of Ornithology features award-winning coffees by Copper Horse Coffee and delicacies by Blue Wave Pastry. Purchase a Festival Pass, all seven concerts for $120, or just come hear our first concert and you will be hooked!
