David Zhang is currently a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University, planning to major in Biological Sciences and Computer Science. Originally from Boston, David began studying the violin at the age of three and has studied with Clayton Hoener at the Longy School of Music and then Peter Zazofsky at the New England Conservatory. David has been an active member of the Boston Youth Symphony for the past four years and remains an avid orchestral, chamber, and solo player. He wishes to attend medical school one day and move back to Boston.
