
Isabella Gorman is a classical violinist from Washington D.C., studying in Boston with some of today’s leading classical musicians. Isabella has performed in solo and chamber engagements with the Heifetz International Music Institute and collaborated with members of the Borromeo Quartet. Orchestra engagements include the Boston Philharmonic, the Atlantic Symphony, and starting in the 2023-2024 season, as a substitute with the New World Symphony. She has a life-long passion for American Roots music and has performed at venues and festivals for over a decade. She was a featured artist on an album in collaboration with Grammy-nominated bassist Mark Schatz and guitarist Danny Knicely, and was a guest artist on the Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in Lexington, Kentucky. She is a student of Kristopher Tong at the New England Conservatory in Boston. Previous teachers include concert violinist Stefan Jackiw, and Victor Pikayzen, People’s Artist of Russia.
