Kelley studied with John Ferrillo of the Boston Symphony and Anne Gabriele of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the New England Conservatory, as well as Scott Hostetler and Michael Henoch of the Chicago Symphony at Northwestern University. Kelley also holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and computer science from Northwestern University, which she completed simultaneously with her BM as a dual-degree student to explore her interest in climate technology. In her free time, Kelley tutors high school and college students in math and science.

This year marks Kelley’s first performances for Mayfest after meeting director Miri Yampolsky during a stopover on a road trip between Boston and Toronto.
